Business Development Executive Dublin €36000

Job Purpose:

Securing new business to grow the existing client while maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients and insurers.  Leads will be a mixture of enquiries and referrals as well as self generation.

Responsibilities:

·         Responsibility for meeting, and where feasible, exceeding sales targets.

·         Weekly production of Work In Progress.

·         Ensuring all compliance checks are complete and that all regulatory requirements are adhered to.

·         Effective risk management to ensure client, regulatory and financial risks are controlled and mitigated.

·         Constantly reviewing the book of business to minimise dependency on specific sectors.

 

Qualifications / Skills

·         Previous b2b sales experience.

·         Experience working to and meeting targets.

·         Self starter – previous experience generating own business.

·         Relevant insurance qualifications or commitment to commencing study.

·         Strong presentation, negotiation and report writing ability.

·         Desirable: Previous commercial insurance or financial services sales experience.

 

The exact package on offer will be commensurate with relevant experience but expect circa €35k basic plus €5k car allowance + commission (OTE €50k €60k).
