Financial Controller Dublin

Next Generation have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Financial Controller to work for a leading company in it’s Field.

This is a fantastic challenge for an ambitious Qualified Financial Controller who will get fantastic exposure to the Irish and International Business.

This role will involve a small amount of International travel and the successful candidate will work right across the board. Our Client has 2 offices- one in the midlands and another in Dublin West.

Remuneration package will depend on the candidate’s experience.

Key Responsibilities:

    Review and group consolidation of business unit monthly accounts.
    Development & reporting of group KPI suite for group executive team whilst reporting to Board level.
    Monitoring, analysis and management of group working capital to ensure maximum efficiency of capital
    Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes by performing analyses whilst working across the Group which includes operations, quality control, supply chain, Finance and Engineering.
    Prepare and analyse ongoing financial trends in manufacturing operations (absorption factors) including performing in-depth analyses to help understand trends, align business unit strategy appropriately, and drive business transformation.
    Supervise the day to day management of the group Accounting function, including monitoring group cash, reviewing various interest rates from a debt & investment perspective.
    Key point of contact for business units on accounting issues as they arise on a monthly basis Preparation of Central budget and consolidation of group budget.
    Head office representative on selection team of group operating system.
    Work on various ad hoc projects including preparation & evaluation of Economic Profit models and Investment models.
    Training and mentoring of 5 staff.

Key Requirements:

    Must have at least 7 years experience and have worked in a manufacturing environment.
    Must have strong inventory exposure.
    Must have strong management experience and have the ability to manage and motivate a team.
