Media Consultant

Our client is a major integrated consulting firm which advises global blue-chip companies on their end to end strategy. They are seeking an experienced Account Director to manage their Media business in Ireland. Ideally you will be an expert at creating effective media strategies and have an excellent understanding of best practice in this area.    

Overall responsibilities:

• To manage and develop the media management business.
• To contribute to the global strategy for developing media offerings, achieving a high win rate, and delivering profitably. 

Key responsibilities:

• To sell to clients, both responding to RFPs and proactively generating opportunities, including via broader company relationships.
• To lead the delivery of projects, at a high level of quality i.e. client satisfaction.
• To understand and maximise the commercial performance of the media business, taking steps to seize on any opportunities to improve the performance, and providing forecasting updates for the fiscal year.
• To drive the marketing plan to promote the domain in public forums and in the press, working together with the Marketing and PR managers.

Experience and Skills:

• 7-10 years experience in Media with a local or international agency.
• Awareness of Advertiser needs, gained from practical experience.
• Ability to build relationships at Marketing Director and Procurement Director level.
• Excellent presentation, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills.
• Proven global expertise and perspective; executive level presence and influence.
• Commercial skills.
• Analytical skill. 

 €70,000K , bonus and benefits.
