Digital Marketing Executive - Affiliate Specialist

Our client is a significant player in the Travel and Tourism arena. They are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Executive / Affiliate Specialist to manage their affiliate network and social media requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career with one of Ireland’s best known brands. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing the online affiliate program in markets across Europe, UK and the USA.
• Managing the briefing, production and implementation of online banner campaigns, eshots and EDMs.
• Researching, identifying and targeting potential new affiliate publishers and new affiliate channels in key markets.
• Managing the development of the affiliate program and technology – ie. implementing product level tracking and container tags.
• Maintaining the relationship between the local affiliate agencies, including analysing local market performance.
• Managing the negotiation, implementation/set up and ongoing commercial relationship of meta-search partnerships.
• Ensuring that the company maintains a key presence on metasearch partners websites and search results through API integration, route sponsorships, competitions and campaigns.
• Involvement in the implementation of the social media strategy.
• Ongoing monitoring of relevant social media conversations through the use of monitoring tools.
• Guarding the brand and identity on social media channels.
• Reporting on the performance and effectiveness of digital marketing activity as required (ie. on a campaign basis).

 Key Qualifications:

Marketing Qualification to at least degree level.

• You should have at least 2 - 3 years in an Online Marketing Role.
• Experience in managing an affiliate marketing program.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent statistical analysis skills.
• Proven time management skills and be capable of working to pre-agreed timelines and budgets.
• Good overview of web technologies, and the ability to liaise with agencies.
• Good instinct for web design.
