Online Marketing Communications Manager

Our client is a leading Irish consumer brand. They are based in Dublin city centre. This exciting role reports to the Head of Marketing Communications. The Online Marcomms Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the online communications channel as well as owning the support plans for the client’s Value Added Services (VAS) within the consumer business.  This is a critical role within the team and requires the Online Marcomms Manager to match the rounded TTL experience required to manage the VAS, with acute digital expertise to champion the brand on-line.   

Key objectives are as follows:

  • Define a digital strategy and build a plan to achieve core KPIs (acquisition / retention / registrations) and support the brand positioning.  This will include tactical DR campaigns to drive commercial targets as well as more strategic plans to support brand engagement.
  • Define the role of social media for the brand and how it can be used to engage customers and support the brand positioning.
  • Own the eCRM plan in conjunction with the base management team.
  • Work closely with the on-line team to optimise on-line journeys, ensure consistency in terms of messaging and SEO.
  • Develop and own the annual support plans for the main key VAS propositions.  This will include TTL plans with a strong focus on digital.
  • Work closely with the core VAS operational teams as the comms lead in optimising and evolving the offers.
  • Work closely with key partners in each VAS area to communicate plans and maximise opportunities.
  • Best in class delivery is critical for the role. Develop, design and drive consistency across all communications.
  • Budget management is an integral part of this role as a strong return on investment should be demonstrated from each element of the plan.
  • Managing key internal and external relationships – On-line team, Product Marketing Team, Base Management, Commercial Team, Advertising agency, Digital agency, Media agency etc.

 

Key Performance Indicators for this position:

  • Measurable improvements in brand consideration in line with agreed monthly targets.
  • Contribution to strategic evolution of the brand.
  • Contribution to both acquisition and retention targets focusing on on-line to support overall SMB commercial KPIs.

  • Strong commercial skills – strong business acumen
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Project management discipline

Marketing or business related qualification 5-7 years of experience.

Salary circa 60K depending on experience comprehensive range of company benefits.
