Digital Channel Manager

Objectives:

Our client is a leading Irish consumer brand. Due to recent growth they currently have a fantastic opening for a Digital Channel Manager.

The Digital Channel Manager will have responsibility for developing online experiences that will help reduce customer churn and drive the sale of upgrades online. The successful candidate will be part of the Online team and will work very closely across departments in the organisation to deliver their goals.

The successful candidate will possess great analytics skills, know what a good customer experience is and will be comfortable with targets and tight timelines. The Digital Channel Manager will work across all online marketing collateral.

While an appreciation of loyalty programmes would be a distinct advantage it is not an absolute requirement - our client is looking for someone with superior online skills. 

Key Tasks: 

  • Develop a plan with the Head of Online.
  • To drive the sales of upgrades online (cross/up selling).
  • Design and Implement churn reduction initiatives online.
  • Facilitate the development of their loyalty programme. This requires working with external design, development and fulfilment partners  
  • Ensure all initiatives are delivered through user-centric design processes.
  • Work with the other members of the online team to manage the online store.
  • Constantly research what customers are using online and how the organisation can improve it’s online experience.
  • Design, document and implement changes to the site with relevant  development partners. On occasion the Digital Channel Manager will be expected to lead or contribute to larger programmes of work across the broader organisation spectrum
  • Run email, SMS or on site campaigns to increase sales or drive goal conversion.
  • Analyse, report and distribute reports on campaigns, site usage and sales. 
  • Translate business requirements into best in class online proposition.
  • Leverage analytics and customer insight to optimise online proposition and experience.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that all communications are on brand.
  • Contribute to the development of the skills of the Online Team.

  • Delivery of sales & service targets
  • Delivery of projects and business solutions to target
  • Contribution towards team objectives
  • Working relationships with internal and external Stakeholders 

Other key skills:

  • Online expertise in ecommerce
  • Deep understanding of web principles usability, digital marketing, social networking, information architecture

This role will report directly to the Head of Online. 

Salary circa €60k
